How long does upholstery take to dry?

Four to six hours for most pieces in a ventilated room. Dense mattresses and thick area rugs can take up to eight. We leave fabric damp rather than soaked, and airflow from a fan or an open window speeds it up.

Which fabrics can you clean?

Most household fabrics: cotton, linen, polyester, microfiber, chenille, velvet and wool blends. We do not clean leather or suede — call the office on 917-933-0899 and we will tell you honestly whether your piece is a good candidate.

Do I need to move the furniture?

No. We work around the piece where it stands and put down protection underneath. Just clear personal items, and let us know if a sofa is against a wall we need access behind.

How long does a visit take?

Roughly 45 minutes for a two-seat sofa, an hour for a three-seat, and 30 to 45 minutes per mattress. Most visits run one to three hours depending on how many pieces you book.

Can I combine it with a home cleaning?

Book them as two visits — upholstery is priced per piece and a home clean is priced by bedrooms and bathrooms, so they are scheduled separately. If you want both on the same day, call the office on 917-933-0899 and we will line up the crews.

Every piece is vacuumed first, spot treated where it needs it, then extracted with a hot solution that is pulled straight back out with the soil. We finish with a deodorising pass and leave the fabric damp rather than soaked, so a typical piece is dry again in four to six hours.
